Art On The Wabash 9/24 Preview

The 12th Annual Art On The Wabash takes place this Sunday at Tapawingo Park in West Lafayette and WBAA will be there! This juried fair features work from artists in a 15 county area and is presented by the City of West Lafayette. John Clare has this preview with artists Gail Johnston and Laura Ricks.

Find out more about the event here. Art on the Wabash takes place from 10-4 on Sunday, September 24, 2017. It’s free and artists are in their booths so you can visit with them and learn about their work. Programs will be available at the fair and will contain contact information for each artist.

John Nasukaluk Clare is comfortable behind a microphone, streaming video or playing violin. A former broadcaster for NPR, John has previously worked with Voice of America, the Canadian Broadcast Corporation and stations in Texas, Kansas, Nevada, California, and Pennsylvania. In 2005, Clare earned the Deems Taylor Award from ASCAP for radio broadcasting, citing his work on 20/20 Hearing. Having performed with famed tenors Luciano Pavarotti and Andrea Bocelli, John has worked with the Mozart Festival Texas, Mid Texas Symphony, Nevada Chamber Symphony, Shreveport Symphony, Abilene Philharmonic and Wichita Symphony Orchestra.
