Flu deaths on the rise in IN

Indiana Health officials are now reporting 11 flu-related deaths in the state.

In a change from last year’s flu season, officials say that all but one of the deaths occurred in individuals between the ages of 25 to 64.

The H1N1 strain appears to be predominant thus far in the 2013/14 flu season.

Health officials say it’s not too late to get a flu shot.

The vaccine can typically be found at local health departments, pharmacies and with health care providers.
