Historic Centennial Neighborhood Plan up for review
By Mike Loizzo
A Lafayette neighborhood has the foundations of a long-term plan. A nearly two year effort has produced a draft document for the Historic Centennial Neighborhood.
That includes the area from Ferry Street north to Union, and from the River to 9th Street.
A steering committee representing various stakeholders guided the development of the plan. The blueprint aims to provide a long-term vision for future development, preservation and streetscape improvements within the area.
The draft is open for public review and comment. The A.P.C. is holding a public meeting on the plan September 17 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
You can see the preliminary plan HERE.
