Immigration & the 2012 Election

Immigration and the 2012 election is the topic for a political science roundtable, which also marks the launch of a new political science academic journal, "Politics, Groups and Identities," that will be edited at Purdue.

The nonpartisan panel discussion, "Politics of Race, Immigration and Ethnicity Consortium," will explore how currents of race, ethnicity, class and gender shape the issue of immigration, focusing on the way the issue of immigration is likely to affect - and be affected by - the November elections.

The event is Thursday, Sept. 20. 7-8:30 p.m. Lynn Hall, Room 1136. More information is HERE.
