Ivy Tech Lafayette expands degree programs

Students at Ivy Tech-Lafayette have more degree options.

The Indiana Commission for Higher Education approved two new programs for the local community college.

An Associate of Science in Pre-Engineering degree is now offered.

Last year it began being offered at four other regional campuses.

The degree is transferrable to Purdue-Calumet, Purdue-North Central, IUPUI and the University of Southern Indiana.

The commission also approved a Technical Certificate in Advanced Manufacturing for the Lafayette campus, as well as at 19 other sites.
