Indiana U.S. Senate Candidates Set For First Debate

The candidates in Indiana’s hotly-contested U.S. Senate race will meet tonight in the first of two debates. Here's a little on what to expect from the meeting between incumbent Democrat U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.), Republican Mike Braun, and Libertarian Lucy Brenton.

Sen. Todd Young (R-Ind.) says he has complete confidence in the "integrity and thoroughness" of the FBI investigation into sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Activists Thursday protested the ongoing confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh as the next U.S. Supreme Court justice. They implored passersby in West Lafayette to call Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly and voice their disapproval. About a dozen people gathered to raise awareness of the policies they worry will follow Kavanaugh’s appointment.

Viviana Tsangaropoulous is a member of the Younger Women’s Task Force of Greater Lafayette.

The Indiana Democratic Party Wednesday filed an ethics complaint against Republican Senate candidate Mike Braun – days after Republicans filed one against U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.), Braun's opponent.

The complaint alleges Braun didn’t properly file information about a loan he made to his campaign.
