Ministry of Truth: Art of the Propaganda Poster October 14 through December 7, 2019 Ringel Gallery, Stewart Center Drawing on the propaganda poster collections of Purdue Archives & Special Collections, the Tippecanoe County Historical Association, and private collections, Ministry of Truth focuses on visual communication and literacy through the lens of propaganda posters from different eras. This exhibition highlights different approaches and artistic techniques used by illustrators and designers to emphasize overt messages and the more subtle sub-text used to attempt to influence the viewer.
