Linden Depot Museum is celebrating the Holiday Season with An Old-Fashioned Christmas. This event features decorated Christmas trees and Christmas music in the air! In the Nickel Plate Baggage Room is the largest decorated tree encircled by a magnificent g-gauge Christmas train with Santa Claus and all of his elves busily at work. Receive a free Linden Depot Museum Christmas ornament with a $10 donation! The museum will be open from 12 noon to 5 pm for this Christmas Celebration on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from November 20 through January 3. In addition to the museum itself, visitors may visit the HO building with four operating HO trains, mountain and tunnel scenery, an animated circus, animated carnival, hot-air balloon, trolley and a blimp! Also on the grounds are many railroad signs and signals as well as the newly-completed full-sized replica of an 1837 Norris 4-2-0 steam engine. Linden Depot Museum is located on US Highway 231 between Lafayette and Crawfordsville.
