Imagination Station: Lafayette's hands on science center has been closed since March 2020 due to the pandemic. This year, however, we were able to organize several free-admission events like Robotics, Math Day, Haunted Lab, Chemistry Day, and Hands on Transportation. All events were well attended and positively received, with the attendees looking forward to the center's reopening.

With the overwhelming support of our community and the mayor's office, through donations, grants and sponsorships, and the hard work of our staff, we have been able to accomplish the much-needed repairs and renovation inside the building. Every contribution made a difference for us, and we are incredibly grateful!

Our mission is to ignite their imaginations here -where they can play and learn something in a STEM-based environment. We also plan to have thematic events and programs every Saturday - we are calling it Science on Saturdays at Imagination Station. We have a lineup of programs for August and are working on September.

Imagination Station is all set to reopen; we will have a grand reopening on Sat Aug 6, from 10 am- 1 pm; admission will be $7 per person and free with membership.

We will have robots, new and exciting exhibits, dry ice bubbles, drones, and lots of hands-on displays.

Initially, we plan to be open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm.

We offer field trips to area schools, daycare centers, and other groups like homeschoolers and special needs students. We also provide an excellent environment for birthday parties with some fun activities that are age appropriate.
