On-Stage Foundation, Bailey Trucking and Show Sponsor Encompass Credit Union present the second show of the Red Barn Summer Theatre 2022 season, Murdered to Death by Peter Gordon.
Murdered To Death, playing Wednesdays through Sundays from June 22nd through July 2nd, is a sidesplitting spoof of the classic Agatha Christie-type murder mystery. Set in an English country manor house in the 1930’s, all the usual stock characters of a drawing room mystery appear, but in wildly comic versions.
Directed by Luke McLaughlin, the cast features Red Barn Artistic Director Michael Taylor as the bumbling Inspector Pratt, talented Indianapolis actor Joe Aiello as Bunting the Butler, veteran performer Aaron Moon as the stiff upper-lipped Colonel Charles and long-time central Indiana favorite Jan McGill as Joan Maple.
Additional members of the comedic ensemble are Dave Kenworthy, Matthew Riordan, Chloe Byars, Katherine Abel, Linda Benge and Madison Myers.
Goodwin Funeral Home and Archer-Weston Funeral and Cremation Center will sponsor the Opening Night of the show on Wednesday June 22. The pre-show will start at 6:15 and will feature the very entertaining Indianapolis pianist/vocalist Jeffrey Bowen. The Cellar will be offering the usual fantastic selections from Blackhawk Winery of Sheridan.
