Cordova Delivers Final 'State of the University'

Purdue’s president has an ambitious agenda during her remaining months in the job.

France Cordova laid out both her immediate and long term vision during her final 'State of the University' address.

She hopes Purdue keeps its identity as it moves forward, while also meeting the changing needs of students and faculty.

"We'll adapt to the revenue challenges and the technology challenges of the future, but we will not lose sight of our higher purpose, which is higher education," she said.

Cordova will step down July 15th.

A search committee is in the process of finding her replacement.

Cordova is Purdue’s 11th president and only woman to hold the post.
