Health care provider breaks ground on new WL facility

A local health care provider is breaking ground on a new facility.

I-U Health Arnett is constructing a 31,500 square foot building at the former K-Mart site in West Lafayette.

It will house urgent care, primary care, internal medicine, pediatrics and radiology.

Primary Care Administrative Director Courtney Henchon says the design was developed through discussions with health care providers, patients, Purdue experts, and community members.

The roughly $8-million facility is expected to open next summer.

It replaces the current Urgent Care location at Salisbury Street and Cumberland Avenue.
