A Purdue Navy ROTC professor is appearing on a popular TV game show this week.
Lt. Bryan Garcia and his wife Elsa will compete on Wheel of Fortune Thursday as part of the show's "Military Families Week."
Garcia applied in the Spring to be a contestant, auditioned in Louisville this summer and recorded in Los Angeles last month.
Bryan is a helicopter pilot who was engaged in anti-piracy efforts with the United States Fifth Fleet in 2009 and 2010 on the Horn of Africa.
He will complete eight years in the service next month and plans to return to the fleet in May.
