Frankfort is hoping to strengthen ties with China during a trip next month.
Mayor Chris McBarnes and Clinton County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Shan Sheridan will spend a week in the Zhejiang providence.
Sheridan says it’s important for the area to have a strong relationship over there because of China’s continuing growth, especially in business.
The trip is June 11th through the 18th.
It will cost more than $11,600 for both Sheridan and McBarnes. The expense is being covered by the Clinton County Council.
The two will join a delegation of 25 other state government, community, and business leaders.
