A reminder to parents and college students, if you haven‘t filed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, the deadline is tomorrow.

Indiana Commissioner for Higher Education Teresa Lubbers says not filling out the application means you risk not getting any financial aid.

That includes aid from the federal government, the state, schools, and private entities.

"You must fill out the FAFSA every year," says Lubbers. "So the fact that you filled it out as a freshmen doesn't mean that works every year. Every year you must fill out the form and meet the deadline."

Lubbers says there is nearly $300-million available in state financial aid alone, but as of the end of last week not even half of the state's high school seniors had completed the FAFSA form.
