The History and Impact Of the ADA

Jul 2, 2020

The Americans with Disabilities Act, designed to prohibit discrimination against people with disabilities, is turning 30 years old. The civil rights law has impacted millions, but getting it passed wasnít easy.

We dive into the history of the ADA, in Indiana and across the country, with advocates who fought tirelessly to get it passed. What did it take? And how have the lives of those impacted by the law changed in the years since?
