Housing figures in Tippecanoe County are outpacing the state numbers, but both are improving.
Statewide sales were up more than 12-percent last month compared to March 2011.
However, in the county, sales improved by about 29-percent in that same span and prices jumped more than 7.5-percent
The average price of all homes sold in Indiana last month was 4.5-percent greater than twelve months prior.
And, homes sold throughout the first quarter of the year are going for about 2.5-percent more than in the first part of 2011.
