A half dozen people are interviewing face-to-face with the Lafayette School Corporation superintendent search committee over the next week.
These candidates were chosen after committee members conducted phone interviews with 10 people who applied for the position.
Officials say the search process is on schedule and they plan on naming the new superintendent in early January.
The person will replace Ed Eiler, who is retiring at the end of the school year.
