A Lafayette cultural event is celebrating 40 years. The Round the Fountain Art Fairis Saturday, May 25, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Tippecanoe County Courthouse. Juried event includes more than 90 artists from dozens of states showing and selling their work. Admission is free.
Organizing committee member Jim Bodenmiller says the fair has a legacy of supporting local causes, beginning with restoration of the Tippecanoe County courthouse. He says the organization also has given a sculpture for outside the courthouse and supported the after-school program at Tippecanoe Arts Federation and the local high schools' visual arts programs.
