WBAA's John Clare recently spoke with Margot Marlatt, cellist and Artistic Director of the Tippecanoe Chamber Music Society, and pianist Greg Kostraba about the next performance, Mozart Et Al, Sunday,October 8th at 4:00pm at Purdue University's Fowler Hall in West Lafayette.
There's more about the concert here. Featured on this program is horn player Richard Graef. Graef was born in Minneapolis and grew up in the Chicago area. The son of a flutist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Graef received his B.M. degree from Ithaca College and has studied with John Covert and Gail Williams. Before joining the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra in 1991, Graef was a member of the Honolulu, Memphis and Natal symphonies. Graef has also performed with the Cincinnati, Houston, and Lyric Opera Orchestras.
Greaf is playing the Horn Quintet by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Also on the program is Frank Bridge, and Rick Sowash. Below is a portion of Rick Sowash's Sir Gawain and the Green Knight:
