Motorists seem to be adjusting to West Lafayette’s newest roundabout with few problems.
The circular intersection on Northwestern Avenue at Yeager Road opened last week.
Public Utilities Director Dave Buck says for those still unsure about how to navigate the two-lane roundabout, there are detailed instructions available on the city’s website.
He says the traffic circle is handling the morning and afternoon rush hour as expected.
Buck says there have not been any accidents in the roundabout so far.
But he says if there are, they will only be fender benders because of the reduced speed required to navigate it successfully.
