White House Downplays Coronavirus As It Spreads To More States

Global markets again tumbled on Monday, in part over virus-related fears as the U.S. confirms over 500 cases of COVID-19. President Trump has downplayed the spread of coronavirus, even contradicting his own health officials. He also claimed that the media and Democrats exaggerated the danger of the virus at a recent campaign rally.
