Japan's Prime Minister Requests Major Events Be Canceled Or Postponed Amid COVID-19 Spread

On Tuesday, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe extended his previous request for big sports and cultural events to be canceled or postponed due to the spread of the new coronavirus, while also expanding Japan’s entry ban to travelers from parts of Italy.
