But another person – current Attorney General Curtis Hill – can still have an impact on the campaign, even after losing the race for the GOP nomination.

Four Indianapolis residents have filed a lawsuit trying to get Attorney General Curtis Hill permanently ousted from his position.

The complaint filed in Marion County wants the state Supreme Court to answer a question it refused to address earlier this week: whether the 30-day suspension of Hill’s law license creates a vacancy in the office.

There’s been a shakeup in the Republican race for Indiana Attorney General. Decatur County Prosecutor Nate Harter announced his bid Tuesday while former Department of Revenue Commissioner Adam Krupp dropped out.

Legislation aimed at Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears’s decision not to prosecute simple marijuana possession won’t advance this session.

The Indiana Attorney General’s Office says it’s received at least 900 reports of data breaches annually for the past three years. That number is only a fraction of the breaches happening around the state.
