Attorney General Curtis Hill has been accused of groping four women – three legislative staffers and a lawmaker – at a post-session party in March.

Hill denies allegations, and in a statement, he questions the fairness of an investigation initiated by legislative leaders into the accusations.

Indiana Republican Party Chair Kyle Hupfer says delegates at this weekend’s convention will vote to choose between two versions of the state party’s platform, its value statements.

The move comes as Hupfer tries to resolve a fight over whether to define marriage as between one man and one woman.

U.S. Senate Republicans released their version of a bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act Thursday and there was reaction from both sides of the aisle in Indiana.

The Senate’s health care bill is similar to the House version in that it would get rid of the ACA individual mandate to receive health care coverage, cut back on Medicaid spending, allow states to waive services, and defund Planned Parenthood.

The Indiana Republican Party demanded an apology Tuesday from Democrats who criticized a state investigation into possible voter fraud, after 12 people working for a political action committee were arrested in connection with that investigation.

On Wednesday, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office released an updated report outlining potential effects of the updated GOP health care bill – the American Health Care Act. The findings indicate that over the next 10 years, 23 million Americans would lose insurance under the AHCA.

That’s one million fewer than the projection for the first version of the AHCA, which failed in the U.S House in March.
