Purdue has launched online and social media outlets that provide customized feedback to help users eliminate debt, save for a goal, or just use their money more wisely.
The effort from a Purdue Extension specialist in the Department of Consumer Science corresponds with America Saves Week.
The nonprofit effort helps Americans improve their monetary savings, which rates among the worst in the world.
Indiana Saves project coordinator David Evans says the goal is to help people long-term.
Evans says visitors to IndianaSaves.org can register for a free monthly newsletter filled with savings advice.
He says site users can also state their desired goals which will be used to help customize the feedback they receive.
