Scientists Look At Hatchery Salmon Genetics To Help Survival Rate In The Wild

Researchers in Canada are examining the genetics of salmon raised in hatcheries to figure out why their survival rate is low when they’re released into the wild. Molly Segal (@MollyAudio) of WHYY’s “The Pulse” found that some experiments have revealed surprising results.
