OUTfest 2013

Organizers of OUTfest describe the event as a summer celebration of diversity for al. It's Saturday, Aug. 3 from 4:00 p.m. to midnight at Riehle Plaza and the John T. Myers Pedestrian Bridge in downtown
Lafayette.

OUTfest 2013 “Bridging the Gap of Diversity through Education” is a family-friendly street festival
celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally community (LGBTQA). OUTfest is hosted by Pride Lafayette, the only LGBTQA center in Indiana. It aims to increase public awareness of the LGBTQA community in Lafayette and beyond, bring attention to LGBTQA issues, provide resources, and celebrate diversity.

The Family Area, open 4:00 - 8: 00 p.m., includes Almost Home Humane Society, Purdue University’s Gifted
Education Resource Institute (GERI), New Community School, Wabash Weavers Guild, Wolf Park, and
many others.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free admission for children age 12 and younger. More information is HERE.
