WVYS is a unique ensemble that brings together exceptional, young musicians from across the Greater Lafayette area. The ensemble provides performance opportunities for students whose schools do not currently have orchestra programs, home-schooled students, and those who play in a school orchestra but want to expand their repertoire.
The WVYS is a 501(c)(3) federal charity whose work to enrich the lives of young musicians and the entire community is made possible by tuition fees, current grants from the Indiana Arts Commission and Tippecanoe Arts Federation, and generous corporate and individual sponsors.

Everyone's favorite Rock&Rollers The Prannies return to People's Brewing Company May 21st! Always a good time when they pay us a visit! Be prepared to dance and party!
Doors 5pm / Music 6pm / 21+ / $10 advance ticket
The Prannies rock and roll. That’s what we do. We only play our own songs, but you’ll hear a range of influences: rockabilly, Chuck Berry, Creedence, 60s British rock, 70s new wave, and 80s post-punk. There’s a bit of humor. Our goal is to have our audience wriggling and smiling.
The Prannies are Don Staley (guitar), Richard Fudge (guitar), Brad Estes (bass), and Blake Watts (drums). Based in Lafayette, Indiana, we gig around the state. This spring we’ll release Prandemonium, our sixth album; it’s available at bandcamp.com. Two of our albums (“Songs To Date” and “Did you mean Panties?”) stream on Spotify.
