Joe Macheret returns to People's Brewing this time with his band on Tuesday March 24th! Long time fiddler of the Tillers and now front man of Joe's Truck Stop, Joe has been entertaining us for years with his clever songs and hilarious road stories!

Joe Macheret (Cincinnati, OH), bandleader and member of Cincinnati stringband, The Tillers, has also lent his instrumental skills on stage and in the studio to JD Wilkes and the Legendary Shack Shakers, the Urban Pioneers, Buffalo Wabs and the Price HIll Hustle, Bill Kirchen, Redd Volkaert, Justin Wells, Chelsea Ford and the Trouble, Maria Carrelli, Lenny Lashley, and many other musicians and bands. Joe's other side project alongside (Buffalo Wabs & the PHH's) Scott Risner, Truckstop Waterfall, gained attention after going on tour with Tyler Childers in 2017. Through Joe’s Truck Stop’s touring effort and Joe’s work as a sideman with several touring bands, Joe’s Truck Stop has a following that spreads throughout the United States, as well as numerous other countries.

The Lafayette Dulcimer Gathering will play at Cumberland Park every Tuesday evening from 7pm to 8:30pm in June, July and August
All acoustic instrument musicians are welcome to join the jam and play along or, just bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music! Song sheets will be available.

Nine Irish Brothers Traditional Irish Pub hosts a community trad session Wednesday evenings at seven pm. Trad sessions--short for traditional Irish sessions, are a community-led participatory event in which local musicians bring their instruments and play traditional Irish music. Musicians who play Irish instruments or who are striving to learn are welcome to join in, and all members of the community are welcome to enjoy the music and ambiance.

The Mudhounds are going acoustic for this intimate, slide-guitar featured performance. All the same grooves and rhythms, just unplugged. With skills honed through numerous pilgrimages to Clarksdale, Mississippi, this music is a blend of the past and innovation.

We have landed a true gem for our Tuesday night series at People's Brewing! The legendary Wayne 'The Train" Hancock will be rolling in with his band to perform two sets for us at People's Brewing. Its been over a decade since I last had Wayne here in town, you may remember from the Lafayette Brew Co days?!?!
I'm excited to have him back and this show is officially part of Mom&Pop Productions 20 year anniversary celebration! I'll be announcing some more wild shows like this soon for 2026 so stay tuned!
