Come one! Come all! Dayton welcomes all our residents and surrounding community members to enjoy our Community Holiday Celebration! Families are invited to bring blankets and chairs for a picnic on the lawn by the Gazebo next to the Town Hall, while enjoying the live music and mingling with neighbors. Inside the Town Hall, we will be serving up cookies and a hot cocoa bar, while you wait to meet Santa Claus! Your kids can meet the big man himself! The Dayton Bicentennial Committee will be offering pictures with Santa for you, your kid(s), or the whole family, if you'd like, complete with a backdrop. You can order one photo or choose a photo package to remember this special visit.

Attendance is free, but donations are welcome. Proceeds of this event will benefit Dayton's 2027 Bicentennial Celebration.

Joe Macheret returns to People's Brewing this time with his band on Tuesday December 10th! Long time fiddler of the Tillers and now front man of Joe's Truck Stop, Joe has been entertaining us for years with his clever songs and hilarious road stories!

Joe Macheret (Cincinnati, OH), bandleader and member of Cincinnati stringband, The Tillers, has also lent his instrumental skills on stage and in the studio to JD Wilkes and the Legendary Shack Shakers, the Urban Pioneers, Buffalo Wabs and the Price HIll Hustle, Bill Kirchen, Redd Volkaert, Justin Wells, Chelsea Ford and the Trouble, Maria Carrelli, Lenny Lashley, and many other musicians and bands. Joe's other side project alongside (Buffalo Wabs & the PHH's) Scott Risner, Truckstop Waterfall, gained attention after going on tour with Tyler Childers in 2017. Through Joe’s Truck Stop’s touring effort and Joe’s work as a sideman with several touring bands, Joe’s Truck Stop has a following that spreads throughout the United States, as well as numerous other countries.
