Wea Elementary to undergo expansion project
The Tippecanoe School Corporation is trying to alleviate overcrowding at one of its schools.
The board signed off on a roughly $7.5-million project at Wea Elementary.
Architect Steven Gloyeske says the work has been needed for quite a while.
The addition will include eight new classrooms, more bathrooms, and tutorial rooms.
Construction is slated to start next June.
Gloyeske hopes to have it completed and ready for use in August of 2014.
