Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarski will return to work in person next week after a COVID-19 diagnosis in mid-November.
According to a statement released Tuesday, Roswarski has “followed the necessary steps in his recovery process” -- including a 14-day isolation period -- and will be back at city hall on Monday, Nov. 30.
Roswarski urged citizens to continue virus prevention measures such as hand washing, wearing face masks, and social distancing, especially ahead of Thanksgiving.
On Tuesday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported 180 new coronavirus cases in Tippecanoe County, and a seven day all-tests positivity rate of 11.2%.
