NICHES Land Trust and Warren County Community Foundation will host the Prairie Walk to showcase the restoration progress at the 240-acre nature preserve that features a historic interface of the grand prairie and oak woodlands. Shannon Stanis, Executive Director of NICHES, will lead the hike.
Lapsit is designed for children from birth to 24 months of age. Program features rhymes, finger plays, songs, sign language and more.

Linda LeMar and LuAnn Lamie will be presenting “Work in Clay and Paper” at Artists’ Own Gallery from July 18-September 13. Their show will have an opening reception on July 18 from 6-9 p.m. in coordination with the Gallery Walk Downtown. This is a unique show using paper pulp and clay to create sculptural works.
Linda LeMar’s work is garden inspired wall work using paper clay, stains, acrylic andgold leaf. Vibrant combinations of color, and texture, lead to endless possibilities. This work is inspired by bags, pouches and purses that people use to carry precious treasures. Come see this exciting show.
Toddler Time combines books, rhymes, crafts, activities and music for children ages 24-42 months.

Her musical style is influenced by a wide variety of genres, including soul, jazz, rockabilly, folk, and more. Her vocals are Billie Holiday-smooth and often compared to the likes of Norah Jones and Adele. Kirsten is a talented lyricist, with a penchant for storytelling.

Lafayette Fun Squares (LFS) is a local square dance club. We do mainstream and plus dancing, line dancing and round dancing. We meet the first Friday monthly except June, July, and August. Lessons will begin in September. You do not need a partner for dances or lessons; we will pair you up with a teacher.
