Work in Clay and Paper

Artists’ Own Art Gallery, 518 Main St., Lafayette, IN

Linda LeMar and LuAnn Lamie will be presenting “Work in Clay and Paper” at Artists’ Own Gallery from July 18-September 13. Their show will have an opening reception on July 18 from 6-9 p.m. in coordination with the Gallery Walk Downtown. This is a unique show using paper pulp and clay to create sculptural works.

Linda LeMar’s work is garden inspired wall work using paper clay, stains, acrylic and
gold leaf. Vibrant combinations of color, and texture, lead to endless possibilities. This work is inspired by bags, pouches and purses that people use to carry precious treasures. Come see this exciting show.

Nine Irish Brothers hosts traditional Irish music sessions every Wednesday evening. Sessions are an opportunity for local musicians to join together for fellowship and to play traditional Irish music, and for listeners to enjoy. To make a reservation, call Nine Irish Brothers at (765) 746-4782.

The Lafayette Dulcimer Gathering will play at Cumberland Park every Tuesday evening from 7pm to 8:30pm in June, July and August
All acoustic instrument musicians are welcome to join the jam and play along or, just bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music! Song sheets will be available.

Toddlers have an active interest in the world around them. In this class, they can explore through sensory play, fine motor skill development and exploratory art and music all with the support of a parent or familiar adult. All materials provided.

Lapsit is designed for children from birth to 24 months of age. Program features rhymes, finger plays, songs, sign language and more.

Toddler Time combines books, rhymes, crafts, activities and music for children ages 24-42 months.
