West Lafayette’s Public Works Director says the new roundabout at the intersection of Yeager Road and Northwestern Avenue is still a couple of weeks from completion.
Dave Buck says the two-lane traffic circle will be open in time for Purdue freshmen to arrive August 10th.
He says other roundabouts in the city are only one lane.
Buck says his staff will be available at the Sagamore West Farmer’s Market tomorrow afternoon to answer any questions people have.
He says construction on the east end of Cumberland Avenue between Yeager and Salisbury will also be complete by August 10th.
He says work will then shift to the west end of that stretch.
