Auto Workers On Obama Plan

President Barack Obama said Monday he was "absolutely committed" to the survival of a domestic auto industry that can compete internationally.

Yet he also said the auto industry is not moving in the right direction fast enough. Detroit autoworkers share their views.

Dustin Dwyer is a reporter for a new project at Michigan Radio that will look at improving economic opportunities for low-income children.
