A Boilermaker is on the medal stand in London.
Former Purdue diver David Boudia won the bronze medal in the Men’s Ten Meter Platform diving event along with his partner Nick McCrory.
It’s the first time American men have placed in the top three in any diving event in the Olympics since 1996.
Boudia dove at Purdue for three years before turning pro.
He also will compete in the Individual Ten Meter Platform at the London games. He won silver in the same event last year at the world championships.
