The Uptown Jazz and Blues Festival is set for this Saturday night in Lafayette.
Organizer Scott Freeman says the event features local, regional and international bands playing all types of jazz and blues music.
He says there will be some changes this year, including a no smoking policy.
Freeman says music at the festival includes Delta blues, Chicago blues, Texas blues, bebop, and jazz fusion.
