GLIBE to Host First Annual Healthy Heart Event Honoring the Life and Legacy of JesseL. Moore

Lafayette, IN — February 21, 2026 — GLIBE proudly announces its First Annual Healthy Heart Event, a free, family-friendly community outreach event dedicated to raising awareness aboutheart health while honoring the life and legacy of Jesse L. Moore, a belovedfriend whose spirit of compassion, service, and community impact continues toinspire.

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States, accounting for 1 in every 5 deaths, according to the Centers for Disease Control andPrevention. Even more concerning, many heart-related conditions are preventablethrough education, early awareness, and healthy lifestyle choices—makingcommunity events like this one more important than ever.

The GLIBE Healthy Heart Event is designed to bring families together in a welcoming, supportive environment to learn, connect, and take proactive steps toward better heart health.
