A West Lafayette retirement community is unveiling its new additions to the public.
Westminster Village is marking the end of construction and renovation projects totaling $24 million, which took two years to complete.
It includes a 25,000 square foot health center expansion with 72-beds. There also is a café, library, beauty salon, and a pub, which is open to the public.
West Lafayette approved the sale of tax-exempt bonds in 2010 for the project.
Westminster Village is home to 350 residents who live in single-family homes, apartments and the health center.
The community is on 34 acres off of Salisbury Street. It opened in 1976.
