Purdue officials announced that all university operations and classes for the remainder of Wednesday (Feb. 5) have been suspended and non-essential personnel are not required to report for campus duty.
Normal operations will resume at 6 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 6). All employees should return to work for their scheduled shift, and classes will resume as well. Students are encouraged to watch for messages from their instructors regarding the status of individual class sessions on Thursday.

Almost Home Humane Society is closed Wednesday, February 5th.
Riggs CHC will be closed Wednesday, February 5th.
Monticello-Union Township Public Library will be closed Wednesday, February 5th.
The Lafayette Urban Ministry will be closed on Wednesday, February 5th. The LUM homeless shelter will remain open during it's regular schedule.
Mental Health America of Tippecanoe County has canceled its Depression Support Group and Bipolar Support Group for Wed 2/5. The support groups will resume their regular intervals, 1st and 3rd Wednesdays on the 2/19.
The Wednesdays in the Wild program scheduled for 2/5 at the Lily Nature Center has been canceled.
The Art Museum of Greater Lafayette galleries, gift shop and classrooms will be closed on Wednesday, February 5.
The Presidential Lecture Series discussion "The Rules of Writing and When to Break Them," featuring author Harlan Coben, originally scheduled for Wednesday (Feb. 5), but has been postponed due to inclement weather.
Indiana University Health Arnett Urgent Care on the southside (1 Walter Scholer Drive) is closed on Wednesday, February 05, 2014. The IU Health Arnett Urgent Care Center in West Lafayette will be open from 7 am – 9 pm. The IU Health Arnett medical offices located in Flora, Rossville and Delphi are closed.
