Giving Thanks offers a contemporary celebration of gratitude, with classical music and stories of Thanksgiving.

Walt Whitman stops by to celebrate Thanksgiving and his 200th birthday, and we'll set a place at the table for New Yorker writer, best-selling author, humorist, and turkey aficionado Adam Gopnik.
Host John Birge is the morning host on Classical Minnesota Public Radio. He’s been hosting, producing and performing classical music for more than 30 years. In a previous life he played French horn, and when he was on good behavior he’d occasionally get to play in the Cincinnati Symphony.
