Purdue University cancelled Tuesday’s in-person classes on the West Lafayette campus as a winter storm warning and heavy snowfall continued Monday, and instructed non-essential employees to work remotely if possible. Virtual and hybrid learning courses will take place as usual.

The cancellation follows the announcement of K-12 school closures across west central Indiana, as well as snow emergency declarations from the cities of Lafayette and West Lafayette.

The school’s first Reading Day of the semester, set for Wednesday, remains on the schedule.
