My name... Barb Bradley Hagerty
NPR employee since... November 1995
My job at NPR is... religion correspondent
Public radio listener since... 1981, when I discovered it by accident walking to work one day in my first job at the Christian Science Monitor. I never changed the dial again.
The one word I always stumble over on air is... Justice — which was a big problem when I covered the Justice Department from 1998 to 2003.
I use social media to... google. That's it. Apparently I opened a Twitter account, but I have never tweeted. I have 80 (undoubtedly bored) followers.
In my suitcase, you'll find... running shoes.
I'm not as calm as I sound.
The Newscast headline reporting the last year in my life would be... After discovering she has a partially paralyzed vocal chord, Barb does silly sounding exercises and regains her voice.
On Sunday morning, you'll find me... in church (what did you expect?).
Listening is most important when... my husband is talking to me.
I make it a point to never miss... calling my mother (who is 91) every morning.
