North Carolina Republican Gov. Pat McCrory may have conceded in last month’s gubernatorial race, but state Republican leaders are still putting up a fight to lead.
Earlier this week, legislators called a special session to introduce measures that would strip the newly elected Democratic governor of the ability to control the election board and appoint University of North Carolina trustees.
