U.S. Life Expectancy Drops Amid Uptick In Overdoses And Suicides

Life expectancy is falling in the United States because of an uptick in drug overdoses and suicides. A person born in 2017 can now expect to live 78.6 years, which is a small but significant drop from the year before.
