When Missourians go to the polls Tuesday to vote on a number of candidates to compete in the November general election, they'll also be asked to decide on an amendment to the state's constitution. Amendment 2 is better known as the "right to pray" ballot measure.

Gunmen Attack Egyptian Checkpoint, Kill 15
Islamist militants attacked a military checkpoint on the Sinai Peninsula Sunday, killing at least 15 Egyptian forces. The gunmen then commandeered two armored vehicles and tried to storm through a checkpoint into the Gaza Strip. One vehicle exploded, and the Israeli military destroyed the other.

Gunman Kills 6 At Wisconsin Sikh Temple
Authorities say a gunman shot and killed six people at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, Sunday, before he was killed by a police officer. Four people were wounded. President Obama vowed to provide necessary support to investigate the shooting.

Sikh Temple Shooting Suspect's Ties To White Supremacists Being Probed
Law enforcement officials confirm that the man they say was the gunman was Wade Michael Page, 40. Authorities are treating the attack as a possible act of domestic terrorism. They're looking at ties between Page white supremacist groups.
Gunman Interrupts Sikh Temple Service, 7 Dead
Gunshots tore through a Sunday prayer service at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wis., a suburb just south of Milwaukee. Seven people have been confirmed dead including the gunman. For more on the shooting, Steve Inskeep talks to Don Walker, a reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
