  • Verónica Zaragovia was born in Cali, Colombia, and grew up in South Florida. She’s been a lifelong WLRN listener and is proud to cover health care for the station. Verónica has a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master's degree in journalism. For many years, Veronica lived out of a suitcase (or two) in New York City, Tel Aviv, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, D.C., San Antonio and Austin, where she worked as the statehouse and health care reporter with NPR member station KUT.

  • Pam is the Director of Development for WBAA. She oversees the stations fundraising efforts by working in collaboration with the Purdue Research Foundation. Previously Pam served as the Patron Experience Manager at the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra where she wore many hats, including managing donations and ticket sales as well as coordinating events and managing volunteers. Prior to that she sold real estate with Long and Foster Real Estate in Blacksburg, Virginia. Pam is an Indiana native having received her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.

Band Instrument Repair Shop in Lafayette and has developed an extensive professional and collegiate faculty clientele during more than three decades of dedicated service to the industry. His endorsements include Purdue Bands, Jacobs School of Music, DePauw, Butler, Ball State Universities and the Indianapolis Symphony as well as three different DCI Corps and the International Trumpet Guild.
