The Indiana Senate will consider a bill giving victims of child sex abuse a limited window to file civil lawsuits against their abuser – even if the statute of limitations has expired.

USA Gymnastics filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last month, in an attempt to survive dozens of lawsuits across the country. Indiana University Maurer School of Law professor Pamela Foohey discusses what this means and the organization’s next possible steps.
